DOIT is reinventing personal finance by building tools that help users spend, save, and invest more effectively using AI. As a Lead Engineer, you will take technical ownership of their wealth management app, driving major initiatives from concept to production while raising the engineering bar across the team.
What you'll do
- Lead technical design and execution for major products and features
- Design scalable systems across backend, frontend, APIs, and infrastructure
- Remain hands-on through coding, prototyping, and debugging
- Make architecture decisions balancing speed, scalability, and reliability
- Mentor engineers and strengthen technical capability across the team
- Review technical designs and code to provide actionable feedback
- Monitor production systems and resolve root causes of incidents
- Collaborate with product, design, and AI teams to ship quality products
What you'll need
- Strong software engineering background with production system experience
- Deep expertise in backend, frontend, distributed systems, or cloud infra
- Proven experience leading major engineering projects or teams
- Strong system design skills for complex or high-scale systems
- Willingness to remain hands-on with coding and code reviews
- Ability to explain complex technical decisions clearly to others
- Strong product sense connecting tech decisions to business outcomes
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and taking full ownership
