As a strategic individual contributor, you will define instructional UX and authoring requirements for a new custom Learning Management System. You will partner with external developers, product managers, and subject matter experts to deliver world-class customer education.
The position requires close collaboration with Technical Writing to align product documentation with learning pathways. You will architect end-to-end learning pathways and certifications for admin users and enterprise clients.
What you'll do
- Drive cross-functional learning initiatives without direct reporting lines
- Own the transition from Skilljar to a custom-built LMS
- Define system requirements and guide external developers
- Create scalable design systems and AI-assisted content workflows
- Architect role-based certifications and self-paced academies
- Design interactive labs, sandbox exercises, and API tutorials
- Translate technical specs into timely learning content
- Track learner telemetry to measure ROI and adoption rates
What you'll need
- 5+ years in instructional design within B2B SaaS or tech
- Proven project management experience as an autonomous IC
- Hands-on experience with LMS implementations or migrations
- Deep understanding of SCORM, xAPI, and LTI standards
- Comfort navigating API docs and cloud architectures
- Proficiency in Articulate 360, Camtasia, Loom, and Figma
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and rapid prototyping
- Strong stakeholder management and consultative skills
