You will own the long-range plan and investment case for multiple product squads while directly managing Senior Product Managers. This position combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, requiring you to resolve cross-squad dependencies and drive commercial outcomes for UpGuard's AI-driven security platform.
What you'll do
- Define product strategy and outcomes across a portfolio of multiple squads
- Coach and develop Senior Product Managers and people managers
- Resolve trade-offs and dependencies between different product squads
- Own the vision for quarterly plans aligned with a multi-year roadmap
- Partner with Sales and Marketing on positioning and pricing strategies
- Hire and onboard new product management staff as the company scales
What you'll need
- 7-10 years of B2B SaaS product management experience
- 3+ years of experience directly managing product teams
- Track record of owning strategy across multiple product areas
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and designers
Nice to have
- Experience or qualifications in security, GRC, or compliance
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and solutions
- Experience building product functions in scaling companies
- Background in integrations, APIs, or data-driven development

- Fully remote working environment
- Physical offices in Sydney and Hobart are optional
- US hiring limited to specific states if based there
