Blackpoint Cyber seeks a Lead Software Architect to define and execute the company's technology strategy. You will collaborate with product leadership to deliver highly scalable SaaS solutions and reliable endpoint agents, leveraging AI to accelerate development and enhance security capabilities.
The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in cloud-native SaaS architectures, large-scale data platforms, and AI-driven software solutions. You will guide architectural principles across the organization while maintaining hands-on involvement in critical initiatives.
What you'll do
- Champion AI-driven approaches to software architecture and development workflows
- Define architectural principles, frameworks, and standards across the product portfolio
- Lead design reviews and ensure alignment of architectural principles across teams
- Drive research and execution of Proof of Concepts on leading-edge AI technologies
- Provide technical leadership to development and test engineering teams
- Participate in engineering on-call rotation and support production systems
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to foster cross-functional partnerships
What you'll need
- 10+ years of relevant experience in software architecture and engineering
- Proven experience building and optimizing data pipelines and architectures
- Expertise in big data and streaming technologies like Elastic, Kafka, and Spark
- Deep knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Mastery of microservices and SaaS enterprise-scale architectures
- Experience designing high-volume SaaS applications and endpoint agents
- Exceptional verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
- Ability to operate effectively in rapid production support environments
