As BJAK scales its technology products, the company needs technical leaders to solve complex engineering challenges. The Lead Software Engineer owns the technical execution for major systems, balancing speed, reliability, and cost while remaining deeply involved in coding and architecture.
What you'll do
- Own technical design and execution for major products and initiatives
- Design scalable backend, frontend, API, and infrastructure systems
- Drive architecture decisions balancing speed, cost, and reliability
- Translate ambiguous product problems into clear technical plans
- Mentor engineers and lead critical technical initiatives
- Improve engineering quality through better testing and observability
What you'll need
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with production systems
- Deep expertise in backend, frontend, or distributed systems
- Strong system design skills for high-scale architectures
- Proven track record of leading projects from design to production
- Willingness to remain hands-on with coding and debugging
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
