The Lead Software Engineer will own technical execution for major systems, balancing architecture decisions with hands-on development. You will solve complex engineering challenges while raising the bar for quality and scalability across distributed teams.
What you'll do
- Own technical design and execution for major products and systems
- Design scalable backend, frontend, API, and infrastructure solutions
- Write code, prototype features, and conduct peer code reviews
- Drive architecture decisions balancing speed, cost, and reliability
- Translate ambiguous product needs into clear technical plans
- Mentor engineers and lead critical technical initiatives
What you'll need
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with production systems
- Deep expertise in backend, frontend, or distributed systems
- Strong skills in system design and high-scale architecture
- Proven ability to remain hands-on with coding tasks
- Track record of leading projects from design to production
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
