Join Voodoo's Growth team to maximize the potential of mobile products through user acquisition and tech capabilities. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will guide a small team of developers while remaining actively involved in creating high-quality playable ads for global hits like Mob Control and BeReal.
What you'll do
- Lead and coach a small team of playable ads developers embedded in squads
- Stay hands-on with production of high-quality playable creatives
- Oversee operational workflows, tooling, and best practices for the team
- Drive innovation in ad formats by exploring new mechanics and interactions
- Collaborate with Growth Managers and strategists on franchise objectives
- Benchmark competitor ads and analyze performance data for improvements
- Act as a technical and strategic reference for development and marketing
- Support rollout of playable ads across multiple game franchises
What you'll need
- At least 4 years of experience in playable ad or game development
- Hands-on maker mindset comfortable with production and coordination
- Experience with Unity (Luna), Cocos Creator, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming and web game development
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code or Cursor
- Solid understanding of mobile marketing metrics and creative testing
- Proven ability to mentor peers and work in a high-paced environment
- Fluent in English, with French being a plus
