We are looking for a Lead Splunk and Cyber Data SME to guide the architectural design and deployment of a multi-site enterprise log aggregation system for the Test Resource Management Center. You will lead technical discussions with government stakeholders, define platform sizing, and oversee the implementation of central and edge data pipelines.
What you'll do
- Lead program kickoff meetings and validate reference architectures
- Confirm platform sizing and decide between on-prem VMware or Azure
- Architect remote Cribl worker group deployments across three sites
- Design Splunk Indexer Clusters with tiered retention policies
- Direct five-gate data onboarding for priority sources
- Ensure full Splunk Common Information Model compliance
- Integrate object stores for off-license archiving and replay
- Author as-built documentation and operational runbooks
What you'll need
- Active Top Secret / SCI clearance is mandatory
- 8+ years in enterprise Splunk architecture and data engineering
- Master-level experience with Splunk Enterprise and ES
- Extensive experience with Cribl Stream architectural design
- Proven track record in leading data onboarding projects
- Splunk Certified Architect or Enterprise Security Certified Admin
- Certified Cribl Stream Architect or Admin
- Solid expertise in VMware virtualization and Azure cloud
