Halter is revolutionizing grazing with smart technology that allows farmers to manage cattle without fences or dogs. As the company scales its hardware manufacturing globally, it needs a leader to guarantee that every component meets strict quality standards before assembly.
You will oversee quality control for contract manufacturers in Asia, implementing statistical process controls and leading rapid failure analysis. This position ensures that Halter's devices withstand tough farm environments while maintaining supply chain efficiency.
What you'll do
- Implement statistical process control methods for critical part manufacturing
- Lead rapid sprint analysis to resolve failures and unblock shipments
- Update quality documentation based on root cause analysis of field issues
- Audit new suppliers for compliance with Halter quality requirements
- Work with suppliers to close non-conformances quickly
What you'll need
- 5+ years in quality management for high-volume manufacturing
- Experience with electromechanical product production preferred
- High proficiency in written and verbal English and Mandarin
- Willingness to travel regularly around APAC (over 25% of time)
- Proven ability to resolve quality issues rapidly to minimize disruption
- Strong first principles thinking and problem-solving skills
