Halter is revolutionizing grazing technology by enabling farmers to manage cattle without fences or dogs. As a Lead Supplier Quality Engineer, you will ensure every component in the supply chain meets strict quality standards before reaching contract manufacturers. You will implement process controls, resolve production issues rapidly, and audit suppliers to maintain reliability in tough farm environments.
What you'll do
- Implement statistical process control methods for critical part manufacturing
- Collaborate with suppliers to reflect controls in their process plans
- Conduct rapid sprint analysis to resolve failures during production
- Unblock shipment releases with risk-mitigative actions
- Update quality control documentation based on root cause analysis
- Audit new suppliers for compliance with Halter quality requirements
- Work with suppliers to close non-conformances quickly
What you'll need
- 5+ years experience in quality management for high-volume manufacturing
- Background in electromechanical product production preferred
- Proven ability to resolve quality issues rapidly to minimize disruption
- Strong first principles thinking and problem-solving skills
- High proficiency in written and verbal English
- Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred
- Willingness to travel regularly around APAC (25%+ of time)
- Ability to thrive in a self-directed, fast-scaling environment

- ASQ certification such as CQE or CQA
