As a Benefit Guide at Meridio, you will conduct one-on-one consultations to help clients' employees understand their medical, dental, vision, and voluntary benefit options. You will explain plan costs and coverage in plain language, ensuring individuals and families make informed decisions about their healthcare.
What you'll do
- Conduct one-on-one benefit consultations via phone or virtual meeting
- Explain medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefit options
- Review plan costs, limitations, eligibility, and provider networks
- Complete enrollment applications and verify employee information
- Ensure enrollments meet carrier and compliance requirements
- Maintain clear notes and resolve enrollment issues with internal teams
What you'll need
- Active resident-state Health and Life Insurance License
- Willingness to obtain additional non-resident licenses as needed
- Experience in employee benefits or benefits enrollment
- Knowledge of various insurance products and voluntary benefits
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Reliable computer and internet connection for remote work
Nice to have
- Experience with remote enrollments
- Familiarity with ACA-compliant health plans
- Experience supporting high-volume enrollment periods
- Active licenses in multiple states
- Bilingual communication skills
