As the Manager of Security Operations, you will hire and develop a team of security engineers to protect the company's infrastructure and SaaS estate. You will serve as the senior Incident Commander, drive cybersecurity risk assessments, and establish detection controls. A key focus is evolving the AI security strategy from zero-to-one while maintaining a hardened security posture against real-world threats.
What you'll do
- Hire, grow, and develop a team of high-quality security engineers
- Defend endpoints, SaaS applications, and infrastructure against adversaries
- Act as senior Incident Commander for the Security Incident Response Team
- Own and tune the CrowdStrike detection platform and response funnel
- Build detection coverage across endpoint, SaaS, identity, and network signals
- Partner with teams to implement network allowlists and proxy-level DLP
- Conduct enterprise-wide cybersecurity risk assessments
- Execute hiring plan to build specialized AI security team
What you'll need
- 7+ years in detection engineering, SecOps, or incident response with leadership
- Deep knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and high-signal detection design
- Hands-on experience with EDR/SIEM platforms and detection-as-code
- Proven incident command experience including triage and forensics
- Experience securing SaaS environments and managing endpoint fleets
- Ability to communicate risk clearly to engineers and executives
- Experience with AWS cloud control-plane monitoring and identity threat detection
- Scripting and automation skills in Python, Ruby, or Go
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Nice to have
- Experience with Gen-AI triage or LLM-as-Judge patterns in production
- CISSP and/or CISM certification
- Red-team exposure and attacker mindset
