Lead a high-impact team dedicated to improving developer experience and reducing workflow friction at ClickUp. You will oversee infrastructure, mentor engineers, and integrate AI-native technologies to boost engineering velocity and quality.
What you'll do
- Oversee CI/CD pipelines, build systems, and internal AI-powered tools
- Mentor engineers and assess their AI fluency levels for growth
- Define metrics to track developer productivity and AI adoption
- Drive adoption of AI coding tools like Cursor across engineering teams
- Ensure compliance with AI governance, security, and data handling guidelines
- Collaborate with product and design teams to align technical priorities
What you'll need
- 7+ years in software engineering with 3+ years in leadership
- Strong understanding of developer tools and CI/CD pipelines
- Daily use of AI coding tools such as Cursor or Claude Code
- Experience coaching teams on AI-assisted development practices
- Ability to translate AI capabilities to non-technical stakeholders
- Knowledge of AI risks including security, licensing, and correctness
