Lead a high-performing team of Solutions Engineers based in Brazil to support Snowflake's growth in Latin America. You will partner with sales leadership and channel partners to navigate complex sales cycles, deliver value-based demonstrations, and secure technical wins.
This player/coach role combines people management with hands-on customer engagement. You will guide strategy, improve win rates using AI and data analytics, and collaborate across product, engineering, and marketing teams to accelerate regional expansion.
What you'll do
- Build and lead a team of sales engineers for product introduction and evaluation
- Partner with sales leadership to achieve regional quota targets and goals
- Provide guidance on sales strategy and represent team needs to executives
- Use AI and data analytics to improve tech win rates and team performance
- Own the Technical Win forecast at the regional level
- Collaborate with prospects and partners to deliver winning solutions
- Source, screen, and interview potential candidates for the team
- Act as a player/coach delivering presentations to customers and prospects
What you'll need
- 5+ years in pre-sales with 3+ years of direct line management experience
- Expertise in Data Warehousing, BI, Analytics, Cloud, ML, or AI Agents
- Strong technical skills in Databases, ETL, and Data Science
- Experience with at least one of the major three cloud providers
- Outstanding presentation skills for technical and executive audiences
- Ability to map customer business problems to Snowflake solutions
- Proven entrepreneurial experience launching new territories or teams
- Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent
