Join Prime Intellect to engineer the open superintelligence stack, enabling AI teams to train and deploy advanced models. You will create paved roads and guardrails that allow research and product teams to move from idea to production safely and efficiently.
This hands-on senior position requires building reusable infrastructure, defining observability standards, and partnering across functions to remove delivery bottlenecks. You will own foundational systems where technical decisions directly impact the speed and safety of AI development.
What you'll do
- Build reusable infrastructure-as-code and reliable CI/CD workflows
- Design cloud foundations for compute, networking, and identity
- Develop rollout, health-check, and rollback patterns for infrastructure
- Create self-service platform capabilities and guardrails
- Partner with teams to turn recurring needs into reusable tools
- Define observability standards using metrics, logs, and Grafana
- Own platform SLOs and collaborate on reliability priorities
- Implement security and compliance requirements as platform controls
What you'll need
- 5+ years in infrastructure, platform, or security engineering
- Deep experience with Terraform or similar IaC tooling
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking, IAM, and secrets management
- Experience designing secure software delivery environments
- Production experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration
- Ability to debug across infrastructure layers under ambiguity
- Clear technical communication and cross-functional leadership
Nice to have
- Experience with ML/LLM training or inference infrastructure
- Exposure to GPU infrastructure and distributed systems
- Knowledge of zero-trust access patterns
- Experience supporting compliance or audit-readiness programs
