Andromeda provides an infrastructure platform that connects fragmented GPU supply with demand from AI model builders. You will join the Platform team to automate cluster provisioning, manage machine lifecycles, and ensure reliable capacity delivery.
The work focuses on scaling operations from tens to thousands of nodes, handling tenant isolation, and maintaining high-performance compute resources for customers worldwide.
What you'll do
- Build automated systems to provision clusters from bare metal
- Manage machine lifecycle including wiping and verification between tenants
- Operate Kubernetes and Postgres databases across the entire fleet
- Develop custom Kubernetes operators for platform needs
- Scale infrastructure from small clusters to thousands of nodes
- Participate in on-call rotations for critical production services
What you'll need
- Proven track record of impactful technical work
- Minimum two years of on-call experience for production services
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes architecture and operations
- Strong Linux fundamentals including kernel, cgroups, and networking
- Experience operating databases and CI/CD pipelines at scale
- Familiarity with fleet management and capacity planning strategies
Nice to have
- Experience writing custom Kubernetes operators
- Background in GPU management or HPC scheduling
- Knowledge of bare-metal hardware operations
