This position involves solving complex problems in energy markets, financial products, or communication engines. You will collaborate with a multi-discipline team of around 1,400 engineers, utilizing agile methods and cutting-edge tools to drive industry transformation.
What you'll do
- Solve complex domain modeling challenges in the energy sector
- Write robust, fault-tolerant software using Python and Django
- Create unit, integration, and functional tests for various scenarios
- Debug production issues using structured methods and learn from failures
- Document new and existing features for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Own medium-sized engineering problems and address observability gaps
- Mentor junior engineers and assist with onboarding new team members
- Collaborate across domains to promote best engineering practices
What you'll need
- Proficiency in Python and Django or equivalent web framework
- Experience with domain modeling and architectural design
- Knowledge of GraphQL for API development
- Ability to write robust and fault-tolerant software
- Familiarity with Celery and async processing techniques
- Experience working with PostgreSQL databases
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with one or more frontend frameworks
