You will develop the native Android experience for KIRA's AI-powered neobank application. The team works on simplifying complex financial journeys including insurance, payments, and investing through high-quality mobile engineering.
This position requires strong ownership of product quality, from initial feature development to monitoring production performance. You will collaborate with design and product teams to ensure stable, secure, and responsive user experiences.
What you'll do
- Build and ship Android features using Kotlin for financial services
- Create clean mobile flows for insurance, payments, and claims
- Collaborate with product and design to simplify user journeys
- Integrate backend APIs ensuring stability and security
- Optimize app performance, memory usage, and loading states
- Use analytics and production data to improve the product
- Implement AI-assisted features where they add genuine value
What you'll need
- 3+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin
- Strong fundamentals and history of shipping production apps
- Proficiency in Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and modern architecture
- Solid understanding of mobile UX, usability, and edge cases
- Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging live issues
- Fast execution style with high ownership of code quality
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
