Join BJAK as a Mobile Engineer to develop their AI Neobank application across Android and iOS platforms. You will collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to transform complex financial journeys into intuitive mobile products.
The team focuses on building simple flows for insurance, payments, claims, and investments. We value builders who prioritize user experience, performance, and production quality while working autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll do
- Build and ship mobile features for Android and/or iOS platforms
- Create simple flows for insurance, payments, claims and renewals
- Collaborate with product and design to simplify complex user journeys
- Integrate APIs and handle edge cases, errors and loading states
- Improve app performance, reliability and crash rates
- Support fast product launches and experiments across mobile journeys
- Set high standards for mobile product quality within the app
What you'll need
- 3+ years of mobile development experience in Android, iOS or both
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Swift
- Proven experience shipping production apps used by real users
- Strong product sense and attention to mobile user experience
- Ability to work with APIs, analytics and crash logs
- Comfortable owning work with limited handholding
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
Nice to have
- Portfolio with app links, GitHub repos or screenshots of shipped work
- Experience balancing speed with production quality
- Ability to work effectively without perfect specifications
