Join the Model Behavior team to define how Dia, an AI-enhanced browser, interacts with users. You will bridge product and engineering by crafting prompts, selecting models, and building evaluation frameworks to ensure high-quality AI experiences.
This position requires direct contribution to code and data, shipping weekly updates that impact user-facing features. You will collaborate closely with engineering and product leads to solve complex problems end-to-end.
What you'll do
- Determine optimal AI behaviors for users via prompts, tools, or model changes
- Ship prompt and code updates weekly to improve user experience
- Design and maintain evaluation systems to track quality and cost metrics
- Build internal tooling to accelerate team workflow and iteration speed
- Test new models and agent harnesses to keep the product at the technological frontier
What you'll need
- At least 4 years of experience in product, design, or similar builder roles
- Proven track record of taking products from concept to initial release
- Ability to break down ambiguous problems into measurable system components
- Daily proficiency with AI coding tools like Codex, Claude Code, or Cursor
- Willingness to work as an individual contributor writing code and prompts
- Minimum 4 hours of daily overlap with Eastern Time Zone team members
Nice to have
- Previous experience as a founder
- Familiarity with agent harness architectures
