Join a global infrastructure team that supports latency-sensitive trading workloads. This role allows network engineers to move beyond traditional NOC duties by gaining hands-on experience in network automation, cloud infrastructure, and data center networking alongside senior experts.
What you'll do
- Monitor global network connectivity across data centers and cloud providers
- Troubleshoot routing, switching, and firewall issues via first and second-line support
- Manage firewall ACL changes, NAT rules, and VPN configurations
- Provision and maintain VLANs and cross-connects on Arista switches
- Coordinate network turn-ups and changes with data center providers
- Configure monitoring dashboards, alerts, and network health checks
- Support maintenance activities including firmware updates and patching
- Maintain accurate documentation for network and firewall configurations
- Build CI/CD practices for network configuration using Git
- Develop automation scripts using Python, Ansible, and Terraform
What you'll need
- 2-3+ years in network engineering, operations, or NOC support
- Solid understanding of routing and switching fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with vendors like Cisco, Arista, or Fortinet
- Experience supporting or administering firewalls
- Knowledge of ACLs and structured change-control processes
- Experience with VLANs, interfaces, trunks, and data center switching
- Proficiency in scripting or automation with Python, Ansible, or Terraform
- Strong troubleshooting skills and proactive problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Good communication skills for collaborating with technical teams and clients
Nice to have
- CCNA or equivalent networking knowledge
- FreeBSD or other Unix/Linux experience
- Networking experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization technologies
- Experience with Precision Time Protocol or low-latency infrastructure
- Familiarity with ISO 27001 or security compliance frameworks
