This position is for hands-on professionals who prefer field work over desk-based roles. You will serve a national client base, performing diverse technical tasks such as OS installations, cable running, and telecom punch-downs in retail, medical, and corporate environments.
What you'll do
- Install operating systems and configure software
- Diagnose hardware issues and perform repairs
- Run and dress structured cabling through walls
- Perform telecom tasks like punch-downs and demarc extensions
- Work independently in retail, medical, and corporate sites
- Maintain professional conduct with clients
- Respond to service requests within assigned territory
What you'll need
- At least one year of IT or Telecom experience
- A+ or Network+ Certification, or 5+ years field experience
- Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license
- Standard toolkit for IT and networking tasks
- Laptop equipped with an Ethernet port
- Smartphone with mobile hotspot capability
- Ability to accept assignments based on availability
- Punctual, courteous, and presentable demeanor
Nice to have
- Experience troubleshooting PCs and printers
- Availability for 24/7 on-call duties
