This position is for hands-on professionals who prefer field work over desk-based tasks. You will serve a national client base, performing diverse technical duties ranging from OS installations to running structured cabling in retail, medical, and corporate environments.
What you'll do
- Install operating systems and configure software
- Diagnose hardware issues and perform repairs
- Run and dress structured cabling through walls
- Perform telecom tasks like punch-downs and demarc extensions
- Work independently in retail, medical, and corporate sites
- Maintain professional conduct with clients
- Respond to service requests within assigned territory
What you'll need
- One year of IT or Telecom experience
- A+ or Network+ Certification
- Or five years of verifiable field experience
- Reliable personal vehicle is mandatory
- Valid driver's license
- Standard toolkit for IT and networking tasks
- Laptop equipped with an Ethernet port
- Smartphone with mobile hotspot capability
- PC and printer troubleshooting skills are a plus
