Join AMG Tech Support as a Field Technician to handle diverse technical tasks beyond the helpdesk. You will perform OS installations, run structured cabling, and manage telecom punch-downs in retail, medical, and corporate environments.
What you'll do
- Install operating systems and configure software
- Perform hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Execute structured cabling including drilling and dressing
- Handle telecom tasks like punch-downs and demarc extensions
- Work independently in retail, medical, and corporate sites
- Maintain professional conduct with clients
- Respond to service requests within assigned territory
What you'll need
- At least one year of IT or Telecom experience
- A+ or Network+ Certification preferred
- Or five plus years of verifiable field experience
- Reliable personal vehicle is mandatory
- Valid driver's license required
- Own standard IT and networking tool set
- Laptop with Ethernet port and smartphone with hotspot
Nice to have
- PC and printer troubleshooting experience
- Ability to be on call twenty four seven
