Join Onebrief’s team redefining software development by transitioning from traditional engineering to Outcome Engineering. You will help build the factory that builds software, creating robust agentic workflows and infrastructure for autonomous systems.

This position focuses on moving beyond simple prompts to stateful, reliable agent orchestration. You will work on semantic infrastructure, evaluation frameworks, and self-healing loops to support complex operational coordination.

What you'll do

  • Design orchestration layers for multiple specialized agents to collaborate and execute tasks
  • Create policy engines and guardrails for safe autonomous system operation
  • Build semantic infrastructure like knowledge graphs and vector stores for agent context
  • Develop testing harnesses for deterministic validation of agentic outputs
  • Connect observability data to agent actions for autonomous failure remediation
  • Rapidly prototype and deploy new agentic tools to production environments

What you'll need

  • Proven history of shipping products, tools, or platforms rather than just theorizing
  • Active experience building with AI agents recently, beyond theoretical knowledge
  • Strong preference for intense, synchronous collaboration over isolated work
  • Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly through written documentation
  • Willingness to share expertise across disciplines without gatekeeping
