This Software Engineer III position leads the creation of comprehensive technical solutions for banking platforms. You will be accountable for technical design, delivery, and adherence to architectural principles while meeting business requirements.
The role involves providing expert advice on system administration, integration, and release management. You will work independently to support development initiatives and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
What you'll do
- Lead creation of end-to-end technical solutions for projects and platforms
- Develop and maintain solutions ensuring adherence to engineering principles
- Provide expert advice on system administration and platform planning
- Execute engineering strategy for automation of build and release activities
- Document detailed solution designs and act as application SME
- Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and standards compliance
- Mentor team members and share engineering best practices
- Identify and address application data issues affecting integrity
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering
- 7+ years of overall IT experience
- 5+ years of hands-on Pega development experience
- Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) on Infinity
- Experience with at least one full-cycle Pega Infinity implementation
- Experience in Banking or Financial Services sector
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies
- Knowledge of cloud deployments and CI/CD pipelines
Nice to have
- Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) on Infinity
- Graduate degree in a relevant field
- Experience with DevOps practices
