We generate high-quality STEM training data used by leading AI labs to improve model reasoning. We seek Physics experts to craft rigorous, deterministic problems with single correct answers and complete solutions.
You will design challenges that require multi-step analysis rather than memorization, ensuring technical precision and reproducibility in English.
What you'll do
- Design advanced physics problems for AI training and evaluation
- Create deterministic tasks with exactly one verifiable correct answer
- Write complete solutions and document the reasoning process clearly
- Develop problems testing deep physical reasoning and multi-step analysis
- Use Python or specialized tools to build simulations or models
- Ensure all outputs are technically precise and well-written in English
What you'll need
- Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD in Physics or a closely related field
- Strong research or industry experience in theoretical or computational physics
- Strong Python skills and comfort with scientific libraries like numpy
- Solid understanding of modeling, simulation, and numerical methods
- Ability to design original, difficult problems reflecting real workflows
- Excellent attention to detail and technical writing skills in English
Nice to have
- Experience with simulation tools or domain-specific physics software
- Background in computational physics, statistical mechanics, or quantum mechanics
- Experience evaluating model reasoning or designing technical assessments
Stack
- Python
- numpy
- scipy
How you'll work
- Fully remote position
- Contract type with immediate start
- 20 to 40 hours per week commitment
- Initial project duration of 2 months with potential extension
