We generate high-quality STEM training data used by leading AI labs to improve model reasoning in technical domains. As a Physics Expert, you will design rigorous, deterministic problems that are genuinely challenging for state-of-the-art AI systems. Each submission requires a complete, verified solution and clear documentation of the reasoning process.

What you'll do

  • Design advanced physics problems for AI training and evaluation
  • Create deterministic challenges with exactly one correct answer
  • Write complete, verified solutions with documented reasoning
  • Develop problems testing deep physical reasoning and multi-step analysis
  • Use Python or specialized tools to build simulations or models
  • Ensure all outputs are technically precise and well-written in English

What you'll need

  • Master’s or PhD in Physics or a closely related field
  • Strong research or industry experience in theoretical or computational physics
  • Proficiency in Python and scientific libraries like numpy or scipy
  • Solid understanding of modeling, simulation, and numerical methods
  • Ability to design original, difficult problems reflecting real workflows
  • Excellent attention to detail and technical writing skills in English

Nice to have

  • Experience with simulation tools or domain-specific physics software
  • Background in computational physics, statistical mechanics, or quantum mechanics
  • Experience evaluating model reasoning or designing technical assessments

Stack

  • Python
  • numpy
  • scipy

How you'll work

  • Fully remote position
  • Contract type with 20 to 40 hours per week
  • Initial project duration of 2 months with potential extension
