We generate high-quality STEM data to train and evaluate frontier AI models. Our work helps leading AI labs enhance technical reasoning capabilities in their systems.

As a Physics Expert, you will craft rigorous problems that test deep physical understanding rather than simple memorization. Each task requires a single correct answer and a detailed, verified solution.

What you'll do

  • Design advanced physics problems for AI training and evaluation
  • Create deterministic tasks with exactly one verifiable correct answer
  • Write complete solutions and document the reasoning process clearly
  • Develop problems requiring multi-step analysis and deep reasoning
  • Use Python or specialized tools for simulations and workflows
  • Ensure all outputs are precise, reproducible, and written in English

What you'll need

  • Master’s or PhD in Physics or a closely related field
  • Strong research or industry experience in physics
  • Proficiency in Python and scientific libraries like numpy or scipy
  • Solid understanding of modeling, simulation, and numerical methods
  • Ability to design original problems reflecting real physics workflows
  • Excellent attention to detail and technical writing skills in English

Nice to have

  • Experience with simulation tools or domain-specific physics software
  • Background in computational physics, statistical mechanics, or quantum mechanics
  • Experience evaluating model reasoning or designing technical assessments

Stack

  • Python
  • numpy
  • scipy

How you'll work

  • Fully remote position
  • Contract basis
  • 20 to 40 hours per week
  • Initial duration of 2 months with potential extension
