Join a team creating high-quality STEM training data for leading AI labs. As a Physics Expert, you will design rigorous problems that test deep physical reasoning and multi-step analysis rather than simple memorization.
Your work directly impacts how state-of-the-art systems learn technical domains. Each task requires producing a unique problem with exactly one correct answer, accompanied by a complete and verified solution.
What you'll do
- Design advanced physics problems for AI training and evaluation
- Create deterministic tasks with exactly one verifiable correct answer
- Write complete solutions and document the reasoning process clearly
- Develop challenges that test deep physical reasoning and analysis
- Use Python or specialized tools to build simulations or models
- Ensure all outputs are technically precise and reproducible
What you'll need
- Master’s or PhD in Physics or a closely related field
- Strong research or industry experience in physics
- Proficiency in Python and scientific libraries like NumPy or SciPy
- Solid understanding of modeling, simulation, and numerical methods
- Ability to design original, difficult problems reflecting real workflows
- Excellent attention to detail and technical writing skills in English
Nice to have
- Experience with simulation tools or domain-specific physics software
- Background in computational physics, statistical mechanics, or quantum mechanics
- Experience evaluating model reasoning or designing technical assessments
Stack
- Python
- NumPy
- SciPy
How you'll work
- Fully remote position
- Contract type with part-time commitment
- 20 to 40 hours per week
- Initial project duration of 2 months with potential extension
