We generate high-quality STEM data to train and evaluate frontier AI models. Our work helps leading AI labs enhance technical reasoning capabilities.
As a Physics Expert, you will craft rigorous problems that test deep physical understanding. Each task must have a single correct answer and include a complete, documented solution.
What you'll do
- Design advanced physics problems for AI training and evaluation
- Create deterministic tasks with exactly one verifiable correct answer
- Write complete solutions and document the reasoning process clearly
- Develop challenges that test multi-step analysis over memorization
- Use Python or specialized tools to build simulations or models
- Ensure all outputs are technically precise and written in English
What you'll need
- Master’s or PhD in Physics or a closely related field
- Strong research or industry experience in physics
- Proficiency in Python and scientific libraries like numpy or scipy
- Solid understanding of modeling, simulation, and numerical methods
- Ability to design original problems reflecting real physics workflows
- Excellent attention to detail and technical writing skills in English
Nice to have
- Experience with simulation tools or domain-specific physics software
- Background in computational physics, statistical mechanics, or quantum mechanics
- Experience evaluating model reasoning or designing technical assessments
Stack
- Python
- numpy
- scipy
How you'll work
- Fully remote position
- Contract basis
- 20 to 40 hours per week
- Initial project duration of 2 months with potential extension
