Join a team creating high-quality STEM training data for leading AI labs. As a Physics Expert, you will design rigorous problems that test deep physical reasoning and multi-step analysis, ensuring they are genuinely challenging for state-of-the-art AI systems.

You will submit each problem with a complete, verified solution and clear documentation of the reasoning process. The work requires technical precision and excellent writing skills in English.

What you'll do

  • Design advanced physics problems for AI training and evaluation
  • Create deterministic tasks with exactly one verifiable correct answer
  • Write complete solutions and document the reasoning process clearly
  • Develop problems testing deep reasoning rather than memorization
  • Use Python or specialized tools to build simulations if needed
  • Ensure all outputs are technically precise and reproducible

What you'll need

  • Master’s or PhD in Physics or a closely related field
  • Strong experience in theoretical, experimental, or computational physics
  • Proficient in Python and scientific libraries like NumPy or SciPy
  • Solid understanding of modeling, simulation, and numerical methods
  • Ability to design original problems reflecting real physics workflows
  • Excellent attention to detail and technical writing skills in English

Nice to have

  • Experience with simulation tools or domain-specific physics software
  • Background in computational physics, statistical mechanics, or quantum mechanics
  • Experience evaluating model reasoning or designing technical assessments

Stack

  • Python
  • NumPy
  • SciPy

How you'll work

  • Fully remote position
  • Contract basis with potential extension
  • 20 to 40 hours per week commitment
  • Initial project duration of 2 months
