Join a team creating high-quality STEM training data for leading AI labs. As a Physics Expert, you will design rigorous, multi-step problems that test deep physical reasoning rather than simple memorization. Your work directly improves model performance in technical domains by providing verifiable, deterministic challenges with complete solutions.
What you'll do
- Design advanced physics problems for AI training and evaluation
- Create deterministic tasks with exactly one correct answer
- Write complete, verified solutions with clear reasoning
- Develop problems requiring multi-step physical analysis
- Use Python or specialized tools for simulations where needed
- Ensure all outputs are precise, reproducible, and well-written
What you'll need
- Master’s or PhD in Physics or a closely related field
- Strong experience in theoretical, experimental, or computational physics
- Proficiency in Python and scientific libraries like numpy or scipy
- Solid understanding of modeling, simulation, and numerical methods
- Ability to design original, difficult problems reflecting real workflows
- Excellent attention to detail and technical writing skills in English
Nice to have
- Experience with simulation tools or domain-specific physics software
- Background in computational physics, statistical mechanics, or quantum mechanics
- Experience evaluating model reasoning or designing technical assessments
Stack
- Python
- numpy
- scipy
How you'll work
- Fully remote position
- 20 to 40 hours per week
- Contract type employment
- Initial duration of 2 months with potential extension
