The Site Readiness & Development team converts powered-land opportunities into executable infrastructure options for OpenAI's AI ecosystem. You will own day-to-day development execution, managing utility applications, study follow-through, and risk management for multiple active sites.
What you'll do
- Manage advancement of powered-land opportunities from intake to readiness
- Own utility application and interconnection follow-through processes
- Scope and manage external studies and consultant workstreams
- Track development schedules, dependencies, and risk registers
- Translate technical findings into schedule and budget implications
- Partner with land and environmental leads to align project advancement
- Define readiness criteria and prepare handoff packages for execution
- Build repeatable playbooks for powered-land development globally
What you'll need
- 6+ years in energy infrastructure or data center development
- Strong understanding of utility coordination and interconnection
- Experience managing multi-party workstreams with consultants
- Ability to track multiple complex sites concurrently
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Capacity to translate uncertainty into clear actions
