Runway is building world models to simulate reality, merging art and science to accelerate progress in robotics and scientific discovery. As a Pricing & Packaging Lead, you will own how the company creates and captures value across its all-in-one platform for video, image, and audio generation.
You will partner with product and sales leaders to evolve plan structures, design enterprise pathways, and set pricing for both proprietary and third-party AI models. Your work will directly impact revenue growth, gross margins, and customer trust through transparent and strategic pricing decisions.
What you'll do
- Own self-serve pricing, credit design, and regional strategies
- Design enterprise triggers, seat models, and sales playbooks
- Establish company-wide pricing principles and decision processes
- Set launch pricing for internal AI models based on cost-to-serve
- Define margin targets and credit pricing for third-party models
- Manage communication of pricing changes to maintain trust
- Hire and lead a small pricing team over time
What you'll need
- 10+ years in pricing, monetization, or strategic finance
- 5+ years directly owning pricing and packaging decisions
- Deep experience with usage, credit, or consumption-based models
- Ability to build cost-to-serve and margin models from data
- Experience with both self-serve and sales-led motion products
- Proficiency in SQL, financial modeling, and pricing experiments
- Strong communication skills to align cross-functional teams
Nice to have
- Pricing experience at an AI lab or API platform
- Background in creative tools or developer platforms
- Experience pricing third-party or marketplace offerings
