Join TensorWave as a Principal Network Engineer to own the evolution of large-scale data center networks powering next-generation AI and ML workloads. You will collaborate with leadership to design systems that support over 8,000 GPUs today, scaling toward 100,000, ensuring performance and reliability at exascale.

This position requires balancing high-level architectural decisions with hands-on technical work in production environments. You will set standards for congestion management, automation, and observability while serving as the primary escalation point for complex network failures.

What you'll do

  • Own end-to-end network architecture and set technical direction across teams
  • Design and standardize RoCEv2 networks for AI clusters up to 100,000 GPUs
  • Define congestion management strategies using PFC, ECN, and DCQCN
  • Establish automation and observability patterns to reduce manual operations
  • Act as technical escalation point for complex failures and scaling limits

What you'll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Deep experience operating RDMA and RoCEv2 networks in large-scale production
  • Expert knowledge of switching hardware and NOS like Arista, Juniper, or SONiC
  • Proven hands-on experience with PFC, ECN, and DCQCN performance tuning
  • Strong background in high-speed optics including 400G, 800G, and structured cabling
  • Proficiency with Python, Ansible, Terraform, Git, and observability tooling

Stack

  • RoCEv2
  • RDMA
