As a Principal Product Manager at ClickUp, you will shape the company-level product strategy for a converged AI workspace. You will tackle ambiguous, high-stakes decisions regarding the future of tasks, docs, and enterprise search.
This role requires hands-on building to validate strategic ideas. You will synthesize data and customer signals to guide investment decisions and advise executive leadership on major product bets.
What you'll do
- Define multi-year product direction for the converged workspace and AI integration
- Prototype strategic concepts to make arguments concrete rather than theoretical
- Synthesize data, usage trends, and market signals to identify growth opportunities
- Set operational standards and workflows for the broader product management team
- Advise executive leadership on strategic investments and major product bets
- Represent product vision externally to customers, analysts, and the community
- Build frameworks to address gaps in current product thinking and strategy
What you'll need
- 8-10+ years in product management within high-growth B2B SaaS environments
- Proven track record of making consequential decisions with ambiguous data
- Ability to synthesize customer signals, business constraints, and technical realities
- Experience building and evangelizing product vision across engineering and design
- History of raising the craft and output quality of surrounding product managers
- Fluency in defining and interpreting company-level metrics and data patterns
- Deep command of AI tooling for building and setting functional examples
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Cursor, Claude Code, Figma AI, and MCP integrations
- Experience using browser automation tools for QA and edge case verification
- Ability to generate PRDs and competitive analyses using AI artifacts
