Hopper seeks a Principal Product Manager to lead its conversational AI assistant, HTS Assist. This tool resolves travel issues like cancellations and refunds for major enterprise partners via chat and voice.
You will define the product roadmap, shape conversation flows, and make daily design decisions in Figma. The role requires deep expertise in voice-specific challenges such as latency and turn-taking, alongside hands-on prototyping skills.
What you'll do
- Own the roadmap for the conversational agent across chat and voice surfaces
- Set quality standards for voice interactions including latency and turn-taking
- Translate enterprise partner requirements into unified product choices
- Create flows and wireframes directly in Figma alongside design teams
- Build working prototypes using AI coding tools to test interface ideas
- Define agent behavior policies including escalation and guardrails
- Collaborate with evaluation teams to monitor resolution and containment rates
What you'll need
- 8+ years of product management experience with principal or lead ownership
- Direct experience shipping production voice-based conversational products
- Working knowledge of ASR/TTS tradeoffs and latency budgets
- Fluency in Figma for creating flows and basic mocks independently
- Ability to write code for prototypes without engineering dependency
- Hands-on front-end experience building or shipping web interfaces
- Experience shaping requirements for enterprise clients in regulated industries
- Familiarity with LLM-based products and prompt design practices
