You will lead the product strategy for Hopper's conversational AI agent, managing both chat and voice surfaces for major travel brands. The position demands hands-on design work in Figma and the ability to build functional prototypes using AI coding tools.
Responsibilities include defining voice interaction standards like latency and turn-taking, while partnering with enterprise clients to shape requirements. You will drive the roadmap based on production data and quality metrics such as resolution rates and containment.
What you'll do
- Own the roadmap for customer-facing conversational agents across chat and voice
- Set quality standards for voice interactions including latency and turn-taking
- Translate enterprise partner needs into unified product choices
- Create flows and wireframes directly in Figma alongside design teams
- Build working prototypes using AI coding tools to test ideas
- Define agent behavior policies including escalation and guardrails
- Monitor quality metrics like resolution rate and conversation quality
What you'll need
- 8+ years of product management experience with principal-level ownership
- Direct experience shipping voice-based conversational products like IVR or voice bots
- Working knowledge of ASR/TTS tradeoffs and latency budgets
- Fluency in Figma for creating flows and basic mocks independently
- Ability to write code for prototypes without engineering dependency
- Hands-on front-end experience with web technologies
- Experience shaping requirements for enterprise clients in regulated industries
- Familiarity with LLM-based products and prompt design
