You will own the end-to-end experience of Hopper's agentic AI assistant, resolving customer issues like flight changes and refunds. This role demands equal depth in managing chat and voice surfaces, addressing specific challenges such as latency and turn-taking.
Acting as the primary design decision-maker, you will shape conversation flows and interfaces in close partnership with internal and partner design teams. You will define product quality bars and drive the roadmap for millions of travelers.
What you'll do
- Own the roadmap for customer-facing conversational agents across chat and voice channels
- Set quality standards for voice interactions including latency and barge-in handling
- Translate enterprise partner requirements into unified product choices
- Create flows and wireframes directly in Figma alongside design teams
- Build working prototypes using AI coding tools to test interface ideas
- Define agent behavior policies including resolution tone and escalation guardrails
- Collaborate with evaluation teams to monitor resolution rates and containment
- Feed insights from GTM and Success teams back into the product roadmap
What you'll need
- 8+ years of product management experience with principal or lead-level ownership
- Direct experience shipping voice-based conversational products like IVR or voice bots
- Working knowledge of ASR/TTS tradeoffs, latency budgets, and turn-taking design
- Fluency in Figma to produce flows and basic mocks independently
- Ability to write code for prototypes using AI tools without engineering support
- Hands-on front-end experience with web technologies to engage engineers credibly
- Experience shaping requirements for enterprise clients in regulated industries
- Familiarity with LLM-based products, prompt design, and AI failure modes
