You will lead the product strategy for Hopper’s conversational AI agent, managing both chat and voice surfaces for major travel brands. The role demands deep involvement in design decisions, requiring you to create flows and wireframes directly in Figma while defining quality bars for latency and turn-taking.
Working closely with partner design teams and internal engineers, you will translate enterprise requirements into scalable product choices. You will also build working prototypes using AI coding tools to test conversation flows before full implementation.
What you'll do
- Own the roadmap for the conversational agent across chat and voice interfaces
- Set product standards for voice latency, turn-taking, and ASR/TTS quality
- Translate enterprise partner needs into unified product decisions
- Create flows and wireframes hands-on in Figma daily
- Build functional prototypes using AI coding tools to test ideas
- Define agent behavior including tone, escalation policies, and guardrails
- Collaborate with evaluation teams to monitor resolution and containment rates
What you'll need
- 8+ years of product management experience with principal-level ownership
- Direct experience shipping voice-based conversational products like IVR or voice bots
- Working knowledge of ASR/TTS tradeoffs, latency budgets, and barge-in design
- Fluency in Figma for producing flows and basic mocks independently
- Ability to write code for prototypes without waiting for engineering support
- Hands-on front-end experience with web technologies
- Experience shaping requirements for enterprise clients in regulated industries
- Familiarity with LLM-based products, prompt design, and AI failure modes
