Lead the product strategy for HTS Assist, Hopper’s AI agent that resolves travel issues like flight changes and refunds via chat and voice. This role requires deep ownership of both surfaces, addressing specific voice challenges such as latency and turn-taking while shaping the interface for enterprise partners.
You will act as the primary design decision-maker, working directly in Figma to create flows and prototypes. The position involves close collaboration with partner design teams and internal engineers to deliver a high-quality conversational experience for millions of travelers.
What you'll do
- Own the roadmap for the conversational agent across chat and voice channels
- Set quality standards for voice interactions including latency and barge-in handling
- Translate enterprise partner requirements into unified product decisions
- Create flows and wireframes directly in Figma alongside design teams
- Build working prototypes using AI coding tools to test interface ideas
- Define agent behavior policies including escalation logic and guardrails
- Monitor metrics like resolution rate and containment to drive improvements
What you'll need
- 8+ years of product management experience with principal or lead ownership
- Direct experience shipping voice-based conversational products like IVR or voice bots
- Working knowledge of ASR/TTS tradeoffs, latency budgets, and turn-taking design
- Fluency in Figma for producing flows and basic mocks independently
- Ability to write code for prototypes using AI tools without engineering dependency
- Hands-on front-end experience with web technologies
- Experience managing enterprise client requirements in regulated industries
- Familiarity with LLM products, prompt design, and AI failure modes
