You will lead the 0-to-1 creation of the HTS API Marketplace, defining how Hopper’s technical capabilities are packaged, priced, and exposed to enterprise partners. Working closely with internal capability teams, you will translate complex systems into coherent, developer-friendly API products that drive revenue.
This position requires a hands-on approach, utilizing AI tools for rapid prototyping before engineering handoff. You will own the commercial model, partner experience, and go-to-market strategy to establish the marketplace as a key growth engine.
What you'll do
- Define structure, packaging, and pricing for API capabilities across the portfolio
- Coordinate with capability PMs to translate technical roadmaps into external API products
- Own the commercial model including take rates, enterprise packaging, and custom deals
- Build developer experience from scratch including docs, sandboxes, and onboarding flows
- Use AI tools to prototype workflows and mock APIs before committing engineering resources
- Establish go-to-market motion and sequence launches with the Commercial team
- Own marketplace revenue P&L and track unit economics in partnership with Finance
What you'll need
- 7+ years of Product Management experience with at least one 0-to-1 launch
- Experience building developer-facing or B2B marketplace products
- Proficiency using LLMs and vibe coding for prototyping and demos
- Strong understanding of marketplace economics and commercial models
- Ability to coordinate across multiple product teams without direct authority
- Experience managing external enterprise partners and their expectations
- Strong fluency with SQL and large-scale operational datasets
- Exceptional written communication skills for API and product documentation
Nice to have
- Experience in travel commerce, fintech, ads, or marketplace infrastructure
- Background in connectivity, distribution, or supplier technology like GDS
- Prior experience in Engineering, Data Science, or other technical roles
- Familiarity with auction mechanics, dynamic pricing, or ranking models
