This permanent role requires presence within commuting distance of the Cracow office. The team operates with a remote-first mindset, balancing flexible work with periodic in-person collaboration.
What you'll do
- Design complex, scalable systems for reliability and consistency
- Conduct design reviews across engineering pillars
- Improve operational maturity and promote best practices
- Drive technology strategy aligned with organizational vision
- Partner with product and engineering managers on delivery milestones
- Serve as a technical leader and go-to expert for the team
- Communicate project goals and timelines to stakeholders
What you'll need
- Over 10 years of commercial software development experience
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced settings
- Strong skills in troubleshooting production issues
- Experience building scalable distributed systems from conception
- Deep knowledge of software architecture and design principles
- Proficiency with AWS or Azure cloud platforms
- Expertise in Java, Python, or Scala
- Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases
