You will join Docker's newly launched Professional Services team to accelerate customer success and drive enterprise adoption for agentic workloads. As a Principal Solution Architect, you will shape service strategy, create reference architectures, and act as a trusted advisor to strategic partners and Fortune 500 customers.
The role involves high-visibility collaboration with revenue, product, and marketing leadership. You will translate field insights into product strategy while delivering technical engagements that ensure secure, compliant, and scalable Docker implementations.
What you'll do
- Develop repeatable reference architecture patterns for self-hosted and air-gapped deployments
- Create technical collateral and SOW templates to standardize delivery consistency
- Collaborate with product and revenue teams to align services with the AI platform roadmap
- Act as a trusted advisor for enterprise customers adopting containerization and AI workflows
- Architect self-hosted Docker deployments in regulated, air-gapped environments
- Guide implementation of agentic AI toolchains including MCP server/client architecture
- Support partnerships by onboarding and enabling technical integration partners
- Translate field insights on integration and observability into product strategy
What you'll need
- 7+ years as a Professional Services Solution Architect or Technical Consultant
- Experience architecting self-hosted and air-gapped deployment architectures
- Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and agentic AI toolchains
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML workflows and LLM deployment in enterprises
- Deep understanding of container and software supply chain security practices
- Enterprise integration experience with Identity Providers like Okta and Azure AD
- Ability to lead executive-level architecture conversations without formal authority
- Track record of delivering services that meet revenue and ARR growth targets
Nice to have
- Experience architecting AI platforms with secure supply chain patterns
- Background enabling system integrators or partner ecosystems
- Consulting experience with Fortune 500 clients in regulated sectors
- Led AI security architecture engagements for containerized workloads
