As the founding Solutions Engineer, you will serve as the technical expert in major enterprise sales cycles. You will architect data solutions, manage proof-of-value experiences, and define how MedScout’s AI capabilities integrate into customer strategies. This role requires translating complex customer needs into actionable requirements for product and engineering teams.
What you'll do
- Lead technical discovery and solution design for enterprise clients
- Translate customer data needs into clear architectural requirements
- Scope data delivery via Snowflake, Databricks, APIs, or cloud storage
- Manage RFP responses, security reviews, and compliance documentation
- Maintain demo environments and create persona-specific sales plays
- Define technical narrative for AI agents and governance protocols
- Track SE pipeline metrics and forecast technical deal outcomes
- Convert field insights into reusable training materials and guides
What you'll need
- 5+ years in customer-facing technical roles like Solutions Engineering
- Proficiency with modern data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of warehouse cost and performance
- Experience delivering data via API, warehouse share, or file transfer
- Knowledge of REST API design, authentication, and rate limits
- Fluency in CRM systems like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Dynamics
- Understanding of healthcare claims data standards (CPT, ICD-10, NPI)
- Daily practical use of AI tools like Claude, Copilot, or Cursor
Nice to have
- Experience in MedTech, diagnostics, or digital health sectors
- Background with claims intelligence vendors like Komodo or IQVIA
- Familiarity with MCP, agent tooling, or LLM-powered workflows
- Comfort with basic Python and modern BI tools like Tableau or Hex
- Exposure to enterprise healthcare security and governance reviews
