Aptura investigates how AI impacts professional work in finance and advisory sectors. Founded by alumni of Lazard, McKinsey, and Partners Group, the company aims to identify where artificial intelligence succeeds or fails in complex workflows.
As a Research Contributor, you will leverage your experience in private equity or corporate development to design practical tests. You will create PowerPoint tasks that challenge AI to perform the deck-building work typically handled by investment associates.
What you'll do
- Design realistic PowerPoint tasks based on actual investment and portfolio work
- Create exercises involving deck building, template filling, and precise editing
- Complete each task personally to establish a clear and correct reference answer
- Develop precise yes-or-no checklists for automated AI grading systems
- Ensure all tasks and rubrics are written manually without AI assistance
What you'll need
- Minimum two years in private equity, growth equity, private credit, or corporate development
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint including native charts and corporate templates
- Ability to define exact criteria for a correct deck to enable external grading
- Strong writing skills with a commitment to human-authored content
- High attention to detail and willingness to learn AI and data concepts
