Span is a Series A company building an AI-native developer intelligence platform designed to help engineering organizations turn AI adoption into real effectiveness. We partner with forward-thinking companies like Ramp, Carvana, and Intercom to improve how their teams use AI in daily workflows.
As a Product Engineer, you will join a small, focused team that moves fast and ships impactful features. You will work on projects that root cause keep-the-lights-on work, build usable software catalogs, and protect engineering focus time by solving sources of distraction with AI.
What you'll do
- Build products that identify root causes of operational work and recommend solutions
- Develop a software catalog that supports monoliths and delivers high user value
- Systemically solve sources of distraction and mental load using AI technologies
- Protect engineering focus time through intelligent tooling and workflow improvements
What you'll need
- Proven strong product sense with tangible examples of past work
- Experience working with Large Language Models and agentic workflows
- Background as a founder, seed-stage engineering hire, or project launcher
- Ability to thrive in a high agency environment with minimal supervision
- Resourceful approach to problem-solving in a fast-moving team
