Join BJAK as a Product Engineer to shape the future of its AI Neobank. You will take ownership of specific product domains, translating complex financial services into simple customer journeys. This position demands a builder mindset, focusing on user problems and rapid iteration rather than just feature lists.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, data, and compliance. The goal is to ship real products quickly, monitor their performance, and drive continuous improvement based on data and user feedback.
What you'll do
- Own product areas across insurance, payments, savings, investing, or travel
- Define user problems, product scope, success metrics, and roadmaps
- Collaborate with engineering, design, data, and business teams
- Simplify complex financial products into usable customer journeys
- Use data and feedback to improve product decisions post-launch
- Balance speed, UX, business impact, and compliance in trade-offs
What you'll need
- Experience as Product Engineer, Product Owner, or similar role
- Strong product sense and ability to simplify complex workflows
- Ability to work with engineers and designers to ship products
- Comfortable with metrics, experiments, and post-launch learning
- Strong writing, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills
- High ownership and ability to drive work with limited guidance
- Based in China with strong English communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, insurance, or payments sectors
- Background in consumer apps or high-growth products
- Founder or growth operator experience
