Anima is building an active learning data engine to solve fragmented healthcare data issues, currently serving over 30% of the UK population. You will join a small, flat team of around 45 people, working end-to-end on products that directly impact patient wellbeing and clinical decisions.
What you'll do
- Own projects from conception to production with rapid shipping cycles
- Navigate ambiguity to solve novel technical challenges
- Move between frontend and backend development as needed
- Optimize user experience over arbitrary technical goals
- Maintain best practices in version control, CI/CD, and code extensibility
What you'll need
- Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript and type-safe application building
- Strong computer science fundamentals including data structures and algorithms
- Hands-on experience with React, Angular, or Node.js
- Experience architecting on AWS or strong willingness to learn serverless infrastructure
- Track record of relentless shipping and pragmatic tech debt management
